We do a job for McDonalds Germany and painted a DriveIn near Berlin In friendly fresh colors.
A photorealistic baby character some fresh fuits and veggies… some candy and sweets and it dosen’t matter if it took a little longer at the drive in.
By order of IKEA the guys of Xi-Design realized on the area of IKEA location Berlin Tempelhof a large-scale facade design. This time, with great support of InnerFields.
Huge photo-realistic characters form the design of the pedestrian underpass towards the station Südkreuz.
At over 100 square meters different names of IKEA products covered in oversized letters. The typographic elements are in different levels of each other.
That’s why they melt into different graphical areas. They cut, overlap and break each other.
The developed exciting area conduces as a background for an abstract furniture scene, which were taken like the writing of the IKEA portfolio.
Big parts of the exposed concrete were involved in the arrangement to support the urban flavor of the graffiti design.
Isolated yellow and blue dots complete the wall design and connect the colored areas with the exposed concrete.
Friedrichshain is burning!
The guys from Xi-Design have used the first sunny weather to rock a new facade in Berlin Friedrichshain near the Volkspark.
The main part of the painting is a hughe, tattooed beauty woman over the entrance of the Tattoostudio.
The strong colors of the backround stands in contrast to the thinking beauty and the graphically Design give the facade a eye-chatching unique look. The Deep red color burns, and people will see it from far away.
The Berlin beauty parlor “Beauty in the Sky” also known as “Solar One” was completely restored for a new ProSieben Reality TV Coaching Format. In only two weeks the owners restored the whole parlor.
And the Berlin Graffiti Artists from xi-design support the team with some Aerosol Art.
In two long days an night we paint some Caribbean pictures on freshly painted the Walls.
The individual paintings which shows beaches, clouds, palms and some ocean views are graphically separated from each other. That gives the room an extraordinary ambiance.
The Berlin Graffiti artists from xi-design were commissioned for the wall decoration of the new resataurant “Stimmgabel” in Prenzlau. The Idea of the restaurant to serve good food with good music in a nice ambience should be the theme for the walls decoration.
The conceptual design of the wall painting was consciously composed subdued in warm sepia brown colors. Musicians of different styles are building the base of the wall painting. The photorealistic motives are connected with some abstract lines of the staff and are accentuated with some notes.
The big windows of the restaurant were included in the room design. as like as on the walls different musicians are shown on the windows. the translucent graphically design gives the room a nice galanty show and it is also used for visual protceticon to give the guest some privacy.
The Berlin graffiti artist from xi-design, also known as the “Schmaddermaxxn” from the capital were on a visit in Prenzlau. A new indoor artificial ice and skating rink is build this time next to the Youth Hotel “Uckerwelle”. After a few days of Work the Walls of the rink are shining in a new fresh aerosol design.
The basic themes of the wall paintings were skating and ice skating, of course.
The whole wall concept is divide into two parts. The first part shows an abstract winterly landscape in which some photorealistic characters of different age and from different ages drives their rounds.
The dimension of the rink was enlarged optically by the wide background.
A twister mad of ice crystals and autumn leaves leads the viewer from the cold part of the wall painting to the sunny side. The warm and colorful abstract background gives the photorealistic characters enough space to unfold their full potential.
The opposing boards of the rink shows some comic like legs with different skate shoes. Except from the decorative aspect, the legs will give a nice base for some funny pictures.

With a trunk full of spraycans we entered the Luftschiffhafen Potsdam for the third time. This time the object of desire was the staircase of the indoor pool. Not necessary to say that the location gave the topic for the mural we had to do.
Two huge swimming athletes are the central theme of our design. They swimming on a sky like blue background with big fluffy clouds. The best view at the whole mural you get from outside of the building through the big glass facade .
Thanks to Holger and Jacob for the support.

A few more athletes are now part of the Olympia Training Camp in Potsdam. Not some price winning sport stars but some spray paint athletes.
The administration of the Olympia Camp gave us the order to design some of their objects on the sport area. Four cabins at the two soccer fields and five little power boxes all over the area an now design with some sportive motives.
Soccer, Athletics, Volleyball and Handball are not the only kind of sport you can practice at the olympia camp but the central themes of the first picture we’ve done.
Finest Graffiti… as usual ;-)

The Berlin Association Kids&Co. arranged this Year a Graffiti Workshop for the first time. No necessary to say that they needed the support of some professional Graffiti Artist. And so Xi-Design gets the honor to hold the workshop with 20 participants at the age between eight and twenty.
At the first day of the workshop we teach some theoretically basics of the graffiti culture and some spray paint techniques. The schedule contains graffiti history and letter styling.
The achievement for the first day was that the participants draw a sketch witch the want to spray at the walls at the next day.
The second day starts with a live action spray paint training.
On special training walls the kids had the possibility to get some feeling for the spray can and after the they started to paint their sketches on the walls of the skating park of the associations.
Normally we gave the kids some help. At the end of the day some really impressive painting were done by the kids.
We’ve enjoyed the day and working with the kids.

On October the 5th and the 6th the “Who is Who” of the internationally bar-industry met in the Berlin Postbahnhof an Xi-Design was involved. But not to offer our newest color cocktail but to spread some acrylic smells.
We do some finest Graffiti and “puro esprito do brasil” at the booth of Sagatiba. And in spite of some free drinks the result is marvelous as usual. The two meters wide and two meters high canvas fits perfect to the design of the booth. Now canvas is in the Headquarter Sagatiba Europe.
Cheers!
